Eggs to cost less - Prices drop by 32 per cent
Egg prices have dropped by 32 per cent as the first shipment from the Netherlands arrived on February 18, an Arabic newspaper reported. The shipment, requested by the Union Cooperative Society, contains 3,825 egg boxes. According to Ebrahim Al Bahar, Deputy Director of Union Cooperative Society, imported eggs will be sold for Dh14 per pack.
